How eggs & oats can improve your sex life

Breakfast has never been so hot. Food and sex go hand in hand. But don’t go stuffing yourself with pasta before a night of passion as you’ll be tossing and turning beneath the sheets, and that’s certainly no way to enhance your sex life. But there are certain foods that are scientifically proven to help in that department. And no, I’m not talking about your oysters and chili. Not because they don’t work. They do – but they’re your most obvious choices. Everybody knows that a dinner of lobster, oysters and copious amounts of champagne is the best prelude to a romantic ending.

What you might not know is that you can also count on honey, eggs and oats, according to a report presented during the last National Congress of the Italian Urological Society.

If you’ve ever noticed a strange awakening and tingling of the senses during breakfast, now you know why. Oats and honey increase the production of testosterone and therefore libido, whilst eggs rebalance male hormones. If you are a woman and want to conceive, then add a lot of vitamin C to your partner’s food. How about a delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juice with his breakfast?

On the other hand, if you are a man and you are after a night of lust with your girlfriend, you need to feed her lots of chocolate, which reduces stress and helps the release of serotonin.

There’s a green light for nuts and saffron too – does this mean the Milanese are very hot? But be very careful with alcohol. Remember the copious quantities of champagne we were talking about before? Well, it looks like they might not be so helpful, after all. You could end up not remembering what you did the night before, and it won’t necessarily be all down to the passion. (-DDR)
