This is a tale of a princess forced to marry against her will, and her one true love conquering all odds to save her. From pirates to fire swamps to terrifyingly large rodents, this movie has surprises around every corner. There might not be a better romantic adventure comedy; The Princess Bride is a classic that should be on your date night list!

4. Grease (1978)

A classic tale of lovers caught up in different social groups; Sandy the good girl and Danny the greaser fight for their love in this playful 1950s musical. Grease will undoubtedly have you singing along to Summer Nights, Greased Lightning, and You're the One That I Want, while John Travolta <3 and Olivia Newton-John steal your hearts.

5. The Notebook (2004)

Viewers beware: The Notebook will leave you in tears with its passionate story of star-crossed lovers. Starring Ryan Gosling as Noah and Rachel McAdams as Allie, the two met over the summer and quickly grow close. From bar hopping to running into psycho ex-girlfriends to take care of drunken friends, Nick and Norah's night is one to remember.
