Wooden Floor Home to Create Calming Atmosphere

Modern house design often associated with wooden floor home since many modern houses employed wooden floor. That kind of décor also can be seen in a house that located in Catalonia, Spain. This house was designed by great talents of Josep Camps and Olga Felip studio. This house is called Villa Sifera, which is a result of a developer property project. Although this modern house only has 1,958 square foot and a single story, the luxury ambient of the house is real.



The house is equipped with an infinite swimming pool that placed inside a big wooden trellis fence that can be controlled to open its gap or to close it. There are two sunbathing beds right beside the pool which accompanied by some swimming patio set. The poolside covered in wood planks that neatly placed leads to the house facade. The facade of the house represents modern design which only applied practical function, in which the facade and the roof are made of concrete. The appearance of the facade is like a picture frame since white concrete wall frames the glazed wall and wooden floor tiles design inside it.



The interior design of this building applied wooden flooring in the whole house. The glass walls that used in this house created a warm ambiance when the sunlight reflected through the wooden parquet floor. The warm ambiance goes along with the white color scheme of the walls and furniture



The white furniture that harnessing the sunlight comes through the glass walls makes bright rooms that strengthen the modern look of the house. We can see a lot of white furniture such as white sofas, white dining table, and also white kitchen cabinet. Some dark gray furniture such as a chaise, a rug, and some kitchen stools are combined with the white furniture and wooden floor texture in this wood floor home design to create a calming atmosphere.
