Game Making Resources and References

So about one year ago my lecturer was killing us by making the final project into game and website (for the website part we didn't killed tho). Why killing us? Because the lecturer wants us to create the awesome game with maximum 4 person per group, in about 2 months without giving any explanation (about how to arrange the concept, etc etc) and using Visual Basic .NET .
